HotStick USA produced a training and sales video for the AC HotStick. The video will explain proper techniques for safe and efficient operation of the AC HotStick in various rescue scenarios. Note on cordless phone interference — 5 Oct. 97
HotStick USA has conducted tests on the AC HotStick which indicate that some cordless telephones can cause interference with proper operation. The frequencies at which some new cordless telephones operate can cause an indication on the AC HotStick that dangerous voltage is present, when in fact it is not. Keep all cordless telephones at least 15 feet (4.5m) away from the AC HotStick during usage to ensure proper readings. Current production has increased filtration on the AC HotStick to shield from cordless telephone interference. Older models can be upgraded. Please contact HotStick USA for more details. |
